What a run-around Ryan (my husband) and I deal with every week and weekend trying to locate only the BEST of raw organic local produce. We go from farmer's market to farmer's market, Whole Foods to other local grocery stores seeking out prime organic produce (and continuously looking for the best prices to offer our clients with lower juice prices). Through word of mouth and great friends! We have found a local gardener who is having great success with her magnificent garden! She asked that Ryan and I come take a look at her garden in hopes that we would see something that we liked and then eventually buy from her, in return, her fresh organic produce wouldn't go to waist. Ryan and I LOVED what we saw! We loved how she was taking care of her garden (pesticide free and with lots of daily love). We placed an order and on the following day, we picked up from her (I'm not going to share her name - as of yet - because she's not looking to supply to numerous seekers yet). I'm very pleased with my new supplier!
What we picked up : Arugula, collard greens, cabbage leaves, radish leaves and radish bulbs, carrot tops, parsnips, red and green swiss chard, kale, parsley and basil! All in which will be juiced and added to mixed varieties of our organic juices :)
